Bexley Childcare Centre

Client: Mammoth Projects

Location: 13-15 Rye Ave Bexley NSW 2207

Project Description: Bexley Childcare Project consisted of Design and Construction of a two-storey childcare centre accommodating 109 children, 24 staff. Bexley childcare centre has a basement level parking, parent lounge, digital playground, art room and interactive music wall.

Scopes: ZAMR Engineering was engaged by Mammoth for structural design of Bexley childcare centre including the design of roof and beam elements, columns and walls, lift core shafts, stairs, footings, OSD and retaining walls. ZAMR Engineering also provided support during construction phase.

Campbell Street Shared Path

Client: SD Group for Transport NSW

Location: Campbell Road, St Peters

Project Description: Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW), under the new M5 Project, has proposed to upgrade the existing footpaths and shared paths and construct new shared paths along the Campbell Road, St Peters to tie in with the newly constructed shared paths. The proposal consists of the construction of new shared paths connecting the north side and south side of Campbell Road through the culvert adjacent to the Alexandra Canal under Campbell Road Bridge and connecting with the future shared path alignment along the Alexandra Canal.

Scopes: ZAMR Engineering/ SD group were engaged by VBA, Stewardship Maintenance Contractor for Sydney South Zone for TfNSW. ZAMR scope of services included:
• Development of the concept, detailed design, IFC and construction support services for Campbell Street Shared Path. Design scopes includes:
• design for the shared path design from Campbell Rd pedestrian crossing through Alexandra Canal box culvert, retaining wall on either side of shared path, pavement and drainage design, and lighting design. ZAMR Engineering also provided detailed design Road Safety Audit.

Carpark at Lakeside Memorial Park

Client: Invocare

Location: 230 Kanahooka Rd, Kanahooka NSW 2530

Project Description: ZAMR Engineering as a partner of Deleg8 was engaged to take charge of premilinary investigations, civil and geotech design for the carpark at memorial park.

Scopes: The scope of this project included pre-design survey and geotechnical investigations, stormwater drainage design including drainage structures, kerb & gutter and stormwater pipeline, design of horizontal geometry including turnpaths for hearse access, structural design of pavement and preparation of DA application.

Carpark at Mount Thompson

Client: Invocare

Location: 329 Nursery Rd, Holland Park QLD 4121

Project Description: ZAMR Engineering partner of Deleg8 was engaged in design of a carpark at Mt Thompson with 2 disable parking spaces and 24 standard parking spaces.

Scopes: ZAMR Engineering conducted carparking assessment of Mount Thompson Crematorium, Holland Park, Brisbane and provided documentation review, assessment of existing carparking arrangement, completion of revised carparking layout and preparation of layout plans for client review.

CNHI Dangerous Good Concrete Pad D&C

Client: CNH Industrial Australia

Location: 31-53 Kurrajong Rd, St Marys NSW 2760

Project Description: CNH Industrial Australia Pty Limited is a foreign-owned private company, deriving revenue from the importation, marketing, wholesale and retail finance of agricultural and construction equipment, as well as the manufacture, distribution and servicing of commercial vehicle and spare parts.
The project is Design and Construct of DG concrete pad for housing upto 8 Dangerous Good’s purpose built containers to segregate and storage of chemical and other dangerous goods from other warehouse goods to improve the compliance to legislative requirements of handling and storing dangerous goods.

Scopes: Scopes of the work included:
• Geotechnical investigation
• Design and construction of concrete pad
• Design and construct stormwater drainage for the area
• Emergency shower & eye/ face wash station with water supply, design of 2500 litre sump, design canopy and water containment system.
• Street light design and installation
• Engagement of private certifier
• Project management.

CNHI Road Resurfacing & Asphalting

Client: CNH Industrial Australia

Location: 31-53 Kurrajong Rd, St Marys NSW 2760

Project Description:

CNH Industrial Australia Pty Limited is a foreign-owned private company, deriving revenue from the importation, marketing, wholesale and retail finance of agricultural and construction equipment, as well as the manufacture, distribution and servicing of commercial vehicle and spare parts.

Objective of the project is to help CNHI Yard operations safety in the yard area by redesigning and resurfacing the floor area. The area is located within CNHI St Mary site depot. To improve space utilization and making good of the roads.

Scopes: ZAMR Engineering engaged by CNH Industrial to undertake the design and resurfacing of back yard roads with length of 400m. Scopes of the work included supply, delivery, laying and compacting of AC14 Asphalt, crack repairing, line- marking and provide environmental protections during the works.

Intersection Upgrade Heathcote Rd/ Bardia PDE

Client: Liverpool City Council

Location: Heathcote Raod/ Walder Read/ Bardia Parade intersection, Hammondville.

Project Description: ZAMR Engineering was engaged by council for preparation of business case to source funding for intersection upgrade from federal government.
The upgrading works includes: Construction of an approximately 50 m long left turn slip lane from Bardia Parade into Healthcote Road, Provision of additional pedestrian crossing on Healthcote Road western approach, Construction of a painted median strip on walder Road approach and Realignment of approximately 50 m kerb and gutter along the eastern side of Walder Road approach.

Scopes: Scopes of the project included
• Development of business case
• Preparation of construction program
• Preparation of cost estimate
• Preparation of construction staging plan
• Cost benefit analysis

Musuem Station Upgrade

Client: Arenco

Location: Sydney NSW 2000

Project Description: Museum Railway Station is one of the two earliest underground stations in Sydney. After many years of investigation, a concept was devised to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering lift access to this underground facility.

The works comprised structural modifications to the 90-year-old tunnel system and excavation of new shafts and tunnels to enable construction of underground lifts shafts for vertical transportation and reconfiguration of commuter circulation.

Scopes: As part of a broader transport access upgrade – ZAMR (formerly known as Deleg8) was engaged by Arenco to perform upgrade works for Museum Station over 6 months. Scope of works included providing Design Management, Scheduling of works and coordination of design support to avoid delays/disruptions to the project delivery.
ZAMR provided coordination between the Site Team, Structural Engineers and the Architects to ensure that the design was safe and constructible.

Sydney Metro Northwest

Client: Salini Impregilo for Transport for NSW

Location: Bankstown

Project Description: The Sydney Metro Northwest is Australia’s largest infrastructure project, and comprises 16km of underground metro railway, and a 3km elevated skytrain viaduct. As part of enabling the construction of the viaduct, Haul Road Culverts were required.

Scopes: ZAMR (formerly known as Deleg8) was involved in providing design services to upgrade flood mitigation infrastructure along Haul Road. The Haul Road Culverts were required to be built to enable the construction of the skytrain viaduct at Rouse Hill, as part of the Sydney Metro Northwest. 

ZAMR was  responsible for preparing contract documents and construction support for Quality Assurance, as well as reporting compliance to the design requirements.

Terra Santa Crypts

Client: Invocare Australia Pty Ltd

Location: Pinegrove Memorial Park, Kington St, Minchinbury NSW 2770

Project Description: The Terra Santa Crypts Project at Pinegrove Memorial Park, Minchinbury NSW, included design and construction of 924 crypts including indoor and outdoor crypts, family vaults, access road, retaining wall, landscaping, stormwater drainage works and retention basin, access roads and car parking spaces.

The Terra Santa crypt complex is the largest in the southern hemisphere. The Crypt Complex is designed to incorporate environmental aspects of natural light, covered walkways and featured courtyard areas. Terra Santa showcases stunning water features, gardens, bronze art, detailed landscaping and Stations of the Cross glass etchings as part of the development.

Scopes: The design scope included Architectural Design of the complex, carrying out Geotechnical investigations including site contamination and salinity assessment, Civil Engineering Design Plans for access road, car parking, kerb and gutter, stormwater drainage, Structural Engineering Design Plans, Statement of Environmental Effects, Development Approval, Construction Certificate Approvals.

The construction scope included carrying out site preparation works, earthworks and construction of the crypts complex, access road including kerbs and gutters, drainage works including bio-retention basin

Venice Street Shared Path Upgrades

Client: SD Group for Transport NSW

Location: Venice St, Mascot

Project Description: Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW), under the new M5 Project, has proposed to upgrade the existing footpaths and shared paths and construct new shared paths from Venice Street cul-de-sac to existing Alexandra Canal shared path, Alexandria.
The proposal consists of the construction of new shared paths connecting with the existing path on the south side of Venice Street and a new path under the newly constructed bridge on Gardeners Road connecting with the future shared path alignment along the Alexandra Canal.

Scopes: ZAMR Engineering/ SD group were engaged by VBA, Stewardship Maintenance Contractor for Sydney South Zone for TfNSW. ZAMR scope of services included:
• Development of the concept, detailed design, IFC and construction support services for Venice Street Shared Path.

Design scopes includes:
• design of the new 2.5m shared path from existing Venice Street, two new pram ramps to connect with the existing parh, design of the new 3.0m wide shared path passing the Gardeners Road Bridge, design of new lighting for the proposed path
